How to switch to the scanner's interface in FineReader PDF?

Answer

To switch to the scanner's interface, please follow the steps below:

1. Run FineReader PDF.
2. For FineReader PDF 16 go to the File menu > Options....
   For FineReader PDF 15 go to the Tools menu > Options....
3. In the opened dialog, select General.
4. In Select device for acquiring images, activate the Use scanner's interface option > OK.
   
5. Select the task Scan to PDF/Scan to OCR-Editor > click the Scan button.
