What types of subscriptions are available for FineReader PDF for Mac? Is it possible to purchase a lifetime license?

Answer

The lifetime license is not available for purchase any longer. FineReader PDF for Mac has switched to the subscription model: Why subscriptions?

Yearly and monthly subscriptions are available for purchase.

In the App Store, monthly and yearly subscription plans are offered. On our website, yearly licenses are offered.

    Is it possible to buy a monthly subscription and only renew it for the occasional month that I need the program?  This price increase is not tenable with our budget.  Is there any academic discount for an individual educator?
