How to change the destination application in which recognized documents are opened?

Answer

FineReader PDF for Mac opens the saved document in the application that is associated with the type of the given file in the operating system. To associate a different application with a given file type, please do the following:

1. Right-click on any file of this file type.
2. Select Get Info.
3. In the Open With list, select the desired application.
4. Click the Change All... button.
