How to activate FineReader PDF for Mac and FineReader Pro for Mac?

Answer

To activate the purchased copy of the program, the serial number received with the purchase confirmation is needed. The serial number can be found in the confirmation message received from the online store.

To activate the FineReader PDF for Mac or FineReader Pro for Mac:

1. Install the program on the computer.
   Retail versions (if the purchase was made on our website, not via App Store) can be downloaded here.
2. Run the program and enter the serial number in a displayed dialog box.
   If the dialog box does not appear, click on the menu ABBYY FineReader PDF > Activate.
3. Enter the serial number and click OK.

Note: If the purchase was conducted via the Mac App Store, there is no need to activate it. The version is linked to the Apple ID.
