FlexiCapture 11 End of Life Announcement

Dear Customers,

In January 2022, ABBYY announced the forthcoming End of Life and End of Support for all FlexiCapture 11 derivatives. The reasoning behind this announcement was the fact that FlexiCapture 12 has been in the market for over 5 years now with multiple updates and releases. Because of the maturity of FlexiCapture 12 and the availability of releases, ABBYY took the formal steps for the End of Life of FlexiCapture 11.

The following schedule applies to the End of Sale and End of Support for FlexiCapture 11:

  • End of Life Announcement – January 2022
  • End of Sale – New Customers – January 2022
  • End of Support – January 1, 2023

End of Sale

After January 2022, only existing FlexiCapture 11 license holders and customers were able to continue buying licenses and add-ons for FlexiCapture 11. All new customers were required to purchase FlexiCapture 12 from January 2022 forward. Existing FlexiCapture 11 customers can continue to acquire licenses for FlexiCapture 11 until December 31, 2022. After December 31, 2022, ABBYY will no longer offer or fulfill any FlexiCapture 11 licenses.

End of Support

ABBYY support for FlexiCapture 11 will end on January 1, 2023. ABBYY FlexiCapture 11 customers who have a current SMUA agreement can still log incidents and seek help from ABBYY Customer Support; however, no product updates, patches, or responses from product or development teams will be provided.

Upgrade Software

ABBYY FlexiCapture 11 customers who have a current SMUA agreement, can request FlexiCapture 12 licenses by contacting their ABBYY sales representative or authorized ABBYY partner. Current SMUA customers will be provided access to the upgrade at no cost. Customers whose SMUA agreement has expired should reach out to their ABBYY sales representative for FlexiCapture 12 subscription pricing.

Extended Support

Options for extending current support for FlexiCapture 11 are not available at this time. If you have special needs or requirements, please reach out to your ABBYY sales representative or contact our ABBYY Support team via webform here.
