Symptoms

When activating the Screenshot Reader application on the computer, the following message appears:

The serial number is already in use.

Cause

The message appears since the program is already activated and can be used.  

Resolution

To check that the program is already activated, please follow the steps below:

1. Go to the system tray at the bottom right corner of  the screen and click ^:
   
   
2. Right-click the ABBYY Screenshot Reader icon.
3. Go to Help > About > License Info.
   
   
4. In the Licenses window, see the expiration date of the license. It should be marked as "Never".
   

If the expiration date is displayed as "Never" that means there is no need to activate the program again.
