How to recognize text in picture areas in FineReader PDF?

Answer

If the text in a picture area was not detected as a text area but there is a need to recognize it, please follow the steps below: 

  1. Open the document in FineReader OCR Editor and recognize it;
  2. Select the tool mceclip1.png on the toolbar at the top of the Image pane and draw text areas over the text in the picture area;

  3. Recognize the page or all pages again;
  4. Save the document.
