FlexiCapture has to be installed distributedly, with workstations installed on remote machines. What is the recommended way to do so and how to check if everything is fine? 

Answer

In order to install FlexiCapture Workstations on one of the PCs in your environment, you have to:

1. Download the installation *.iso file for the distributed version of FlexiCapture. 
2. Copy it to the machine. 
3. Either mount the image or extract the *.iso file to a folder using any archiver software and then run Autorun.exe. 
4. Select Distributed installation -> Install workstations and follow the installation steps. 
5. Inspect the following files: 
   C:\Program Files\ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 Stations\LicensingSettings.xml
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ABBYY\FlexiCapture\12.0\Licensing\LicensingSettings.xml
   Make sure the port number is 3020 and the server address corresponds to your licensing server.
