Symptoms

UiPath connector throws an error:

System.InvalidOperationException: Failed to open session for the role type 'ScanningOperator' and workstation type 'Scanning'. Please ensure the User name and Password used for connect to ABBYY FlexiCapture Application Server are correct. ---> System.ServiceModel.Security.MessageSecurityException: The HTTP request is unauthorized with client authentication scheme 'Basic'. The authentication header received from the server was 'Basic'. ---> System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized.

Cause

1. Processing Server and Processing Station are not up and running.
2. Not enough permissions.

Resolution

1. Please make sure Processing Server and Processing Station are up and running.
   
   
2. Check that the ABBYY FlexiCapture user has the roles of Scanning Operator and Verification Operator for the given project or the role of Administrator, and provided credentials are correct.
   
   
3. Check project and batch type settings in the Output activity of UiPath workflow:
