How to set up a scanner as default in FineReader PDF?

Answer

To set the default scanner in the program, please follow the steps below:

  1. Launch FineReader PDF.
  2. For FineReader PDF 16: go to File > Options... > General.
    For FineReader PDF 15: go to Tools > Options... > General.
  3. In Select device for acquiring images, click the Select Device... button and select the preferred scanner > click OK.
