How does JavaScript work in Finereader PDF?

FineReader PDF 16 uses the Google JavaScript engine V8 for script processing. FineReader PDF 16 can process embedded scripts but the creation of our own scripts is not supported. Please take a look at the Adobe API, the functions described here should work in FineReader PDF 16 as well: https://opensource.adobe.com/dc-acrobat-sdk-docs/acrobatsdk/pdfs/acrobatsdk_jsapiref.pdf.
