Question
Finereader Server 14 installation causes big amounts of file modify/delete events, it keeps creating/deleting temporary folders/files inside the input folders. Is this expected behavior?
What can be the reason for this?
Answer
This is the expected behavior for FineReader Server 14. These temporary folders/files are created/deleted for each import task.
The amount of these tasks is multiplied by the number of active workflows in FineReader Server 14.
This behavior shouldn't have any impact on the system's performance unless you have more than 100 active workflows in one instance of FineReader Server.
Please note, having more than 100 active workflows in one instance of FineReader Server may slow down the Remote Administration Console.
In case of having more than 100 active workflows, consider splitting them between two FineReader Server instances.
