How to detect which version of FineReader Engine is installed?

Answer

There are 2 ways to do that:

1) (Windows) In the FineReader Engine installation directory in Bin or Bin64, there is FREngine.dll. Right click > Properties > Detail:

 

(Linux) In the FineReader Engine installation directory in Bin, there is a Version.txt file.

2) Via API using the Version property of the Engine object.
