What is the communication port and protocol between the License Server, License Manager and the workstation in FineReader PDF?

Answer

By default, FineReader PDF uses the Named Pipes protocol to exchange information between the License Server and the workstation.

It can be changed to the network protocol TCP/IP. The default port for TCP/IP connection is 81.
