Does changing the computer name take effect on the activated Per Seat license of FineReader PDF? Should the license be activated anew on the workstation?

Answer

Changing the computer name does not affect the Per Seat license activated on a workstation.

Performing reinstallation or reactivation of the program with the Per Seat license will not be required. After changing the computer name, the already activated program will continue working on a workstation.
