How to use the Microsoft utility to fix situations that block the program from being installed or removed? 

Answer

If the issue occurs with removing the program, follow the steps below:

1. Download the program > double-click on the installed file.
2. In the pop-up window, click Next > choose Uninstalling.
   
   
3. Find and select FineReader PDF under listed programs > click Next > confirm the uninstallation.
   

If the issue occurs with the installation of the program, follow the steps below:

1. Download the program > double-click on the installed file.
2. In the pop-up window, click Next  > choose Installing.
   
   
3. Find and select FineReader PDF under listed programs > click Next > confirm the installation.
