Is there a limit on the number of batches in the list of working batches? 

Answer

There is no strict limit on the number of batches in the project itself. However, the view list is indeed limited to 500 batches. If to upload 501 batches, it will simply go to the next page:
 
 
In Web Verification, the limit in the batch list view is 100.
