Symptoms

Error on creating/saving a script in the Document Definition:

The type or namespace name 'Http' does not exist in 'System.Net'

Cause

System.Net.Http standard assembly has not been added as a .NET reference.

Resolution

  • Open Document Definition Properties.
  • Go to the .Net References tab.
  • Click Add...
  • Select the Standard assembly name as a type.
  • Enter the reference name and click OK.

  • The assembly will appear in the list:
