Symptoms

Test connection to the database succeeds in Data Link Properties but fails when trying to update the schema in Export Destination.

The SQL Server Native Client 11.0 driver is used to connect to the database.

Cause

The password information is not cached to be used while connecting to the database from Export Destination.

Resolution

1. Open the Data Link Properties where the connection to the database was set up.

2. Navigate to the All tab.

3. Change the "Persist Security Info" parameter to "True".

4. Navigate to the Data Link Properties and update the schema or test the connection.
