How to disable a Welcome page that appears after opening FineReader PDF on the workstation?

Answer

The welcome page can be disabled only by editing the registry key:

1. Press Windows+R and type regedit.
2. In Registry Editor, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ABBYY\FineReader\16.
3. Right-click on the name IsWelcomePageShowed and select Modify.
4. In the Value data field, type true and click OK.

After that, this key can be applied to the user's workstations, and the Welcome page will not appear.
