OCR Skill recognizes garbage symbols instead of text on documents with Farsi language

Symptoms

  • The handwritten text appearance is enabled.
  • One of the allowed languages is Farsi.

Cause

With the handwritten text enabled, Farsi may be recognized as a handwritten text in another language.

Resolution

Disable the Handwritten setting on the Languages tab of the OCR Skill.
