Symptoms
The error message C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Temp\Retail.SSR11\...\data\documentSynthesisData.hdr was not found appears when launching Screenshot Reader 11.
Resolution
To solve the issue, please reinstall the program as described below:
- Turn off any third-party software (registry cleaners, antivirus software).
- Delete the program using the standard Windows method: Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
- Delete the following folders (if they still exist):
C:\Program Files (x86)\ABBYY Screenshot Reader 11
C:\ProgramData\ABBYY\ScreenshotReader\11.00\Licenses
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\ABBYY\ScreenshotReader\11.00
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\ABBYY\ScreenshotReader\11.00
C:\temp\SR (Trial)
Note: ProgramData and AppData can be hidden.
4. Download the distribution kit of the latest version of the program by the following link: Download link for Screenshot Reader 11.
5. Install the program by right-clicking the installation file and choosing Run as administrator. Turn on the antivirus software after the installation.
