Symptoms

• Matching the Extraction Rules activity in Advanced Designer fails with an error (the full error message):

Document '1' matching problem: Server request failed: 404 Not Found

• One of the data catalogs contains forbidden characters in the name:

Cause

The data catalog with forbidden characters could be created in older Vantage builds and could be kept through the updates to the newer builds. Matching the Extraction Rules activity makes a call to the data catalogs causing the error when trying to access the data catalog with an invalid name.

Resolution

1. Try renaming or removing the affected data catalog.
2. If it fails, submit a request to Customer Support, providing the Tenant ID and the affected catalog name.
