Symptoms

The error message occurs while opening ABBYY FineReader PDF:

"Internal program error: C:\Build\TeamAgent\_work\1\s\FineObjects\Src\Time.cpp, 255. Error code: 0x57".

Cause

The error message occurs in case the Buddhist calendar is set on the workstation.

The situation is known to our development team, and the issue will be fixed in one of the next program releases. Please follow the FineReader PDF 16 Release notes to stay aware of future releases.

Resolution

As a temporary workaround, please set the computer to the Gregorian calendar. The error message will not occur.
