Symptoms

The Compare Documents tool of FineReader PDF does not recognize missing or extra spaces as a difference in the compared documents.

Cause

Minor differences in formatting, fonts, spaces, and tabs will be ignored by the Compare Documents tool during the document comparison.

Resolution

The feature of marking missing or extra spaces in text as a difference by Compare Documents is not supported in FineReader PDF at the moment.
