Symptoms

In certain cases, when processing specific files, the field value may appear in an unexpected position, despite the search element's configured relations having the correct search criteria.

Cause

This issue can occur when the "Allowed errors" percentage is set too high, leading to an increased number of false positives and incorrect detection of fields.

Resolution

To address this, it is recommended to lower the "Allowed errors" percentage. By doing so, falsely matched items will be excluded from the search results, allowing for more accurate matching.

To change the percentage of the errors allowed, please proceed with the following steps:

1. Open the problematic skill in the Advanced Designer > Activities tab
2. Open the Extraction Rules activity in the Activity Editor
3. Navigate to the Search Element
4. Find the problematic search element used as a source for the fields
5. Lower the amount of "Allowed errors" under the What to search for section
