Symptoms

Use of the login link contained in the system notifications emails for "New user registration" or "Password reset" results in the error:

Server Error in '/FlexiCapturel2/Login' Application. The resource cannot be found.

Cause

When the organization uses email protection, antiphishing, or scanner tools, the content of the email may be slightly modified. In the below example, the period at the end of the login URL was automatically merged with the preceding link and broke the URL.

This results in an error when the user follows this link.

Resolution

The message templates can be customized via the Administration and Monitoring Console > Settings > Email notifications according to users' needs.
