FineReader Engine 12 is not affected by the CVE-2023-4863 vulnerability. 

The vulnerable component opencv_imgcodecs480.dll is not included in the product distribution. It is possible to check if any component is available in the distribution by looking through the FREngineDistribution.csv file, available for every distribution.
