How to make an iCloud backup and restore the business cards database on a new iPhone?

Answer 

It is possible to make an iCloud backup of the previous iPhone as described in the Apple Knowledge Base article: Back up iPhone using iCloud. 
 
Afterwards, use this iCloud backup to restore the database on the new iPhone as described in the Apple Knowledge Base article: Restore iPhone from an iCloud backup.
