Symptoms

When using the Application Server and web stations on different computers as described in the documentation, it is not possible to log into any of the Web Stations. On an attempt to log in, the page just refreshes. 

Cause

The machineKey parameter on the station for web stations is different from the same parameter on the Application Server. 

Resolution

Make sure that the machineKey is the same in web.config files on all servers (Application Server and web stations server) at the following places:

C:\inetpub\wwwroot\FlexiCapture12\Server
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\FlexiCapture12\Verification
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\FlexiCapture12\Scanning
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\FlexiCapture12\Login
