Vantage Scope: Could not load type 'Abbyy.Integration.Vantage.Shared.PublicApi.GrantType' from assembly 'Abbyy.Integration.Vantage.Shared.PublicApi, Version=1.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'

Symptoms

The following error occurs after the new version of the Vantage connector for UiPath was installed:

Vantage Scope: Could not load type 'Abbyy.Integration.Vantage.Shared.PublicApi.GrantType' from assembly 'Abbyy.Integration.Vantage.Shared.PublicApi, Version=1.2.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'.

Cause

The issue may be caused by the connector's packages, which were not upgraded in the project dependencies after the new version of the connector was installed.

Resolution

When installing the new version of the Vantage Connector for UiPath, it is necessary to also add the new activities from the package in the dependencies. For this, the following steps need to be performed:

  1. Copy all the NuGet packages of the Vantage Connector for UiPath from the installation
folder to your package source folder. The NuGet packages are located in the UiPath Activities
subfolder of the installation folder that was created during the connector installation (the default location is C:\Program Files\ABBYY Vantage Connector for UiPath\UiPath Activities). After the NuGet connector packages are added to the available package source, you can install the connector package to the project dependencies.
  2. In the Manage Packages window, navigate to the All Packages section and do the following:
    1. Click on the newly created package source category.
    2. Select Abbyy.UiPath.Vantage.Activities from the list of available packages and click Install.
The License Acceptance window will display licensing terms for each third-party package you
      install.
    3. Click on View License to read the license terms.
    4. Click I Accept to agree with the license terms and install the packages.
    5. Click Save.
