Symptoms

A new custom user role is created and the option Modify batch content is disabled. Users cannot delete documents from the batch when using the desktop Verification Station, but if the user is working in the Web Verification Station, the restriction is not applied. 

Cause

It is a known limitation which is described in Help: Custom Operator roles 

Resolution

To use Custom Roles at full capacity, please consider using desktop versions of stations.
