HTTP 500 Error When Accessing Vantage Documentation Page

Symptoms

IP restrictions are configured for the tenant. When attempting to open the Documentation module in the Vantage portal, a 500 Internal Server Error occurs. Other modules within the Vantage portal continue to function normally.

Cause

The issue is caused by an authorization token issue failure. This occurs because the IP range specified in the tenant configuration does not include Vantage IP addresses.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, it is necessary to whitelist specific IP addresses used by Vantage when issuing the authorization token:

  1. Log in to the tenant as an Administrator.
  2. Navigate to Configuration > IP Restrictions.
  3. Add the appropriate IP addresses based on your region:
    • US: 52.226.243.242
    • AU: 20.92.214.45
    • EU: 20.54.146.93

Once the IPs are whitelisted, access to the Documentation module should function as expected.
