FineReader client for iOS closes upon launch or when I attempt to take a photo

This issue may occur when too many applications are running in the background.

We recommend closing all the apps running in the background and restarting the FineReader Client.

To close the apps running in the background:

  1. Double-press the Home on your mobile device.
  2. The icons of the apps running in the background will appear at the bottom of the screen. 
  3. To close an app, tap the app icon.

Note: In June 2020 ABBYY announces the process of sunsetting FineReader Mobile Client for Android and iOS platforms. More information about how to continue using the app is published in the article.
