There are several limitations on handprinted text recognition in FineReader Engine:
- The coordinates of the blocks that contain handprinted text must be specified manually. A detailed overview and examples of implementation can be found in the Developer's Help article Recognizing Handprinted Text.
- Not all recognition languages are available for handprint recognition. The languages that are available for handprint recognition are marked with a special comment in the list of the predefined recognition languages supported in FineReader Engine.
