How to collect AInfo report for FineReader?

Answer

To collect the report file, please follow one of the instructions below:

From the program's interface

1. Launch FineReader;
2. Go to menu Help > About…
3. Click the System Info… button;
4. Click the Save... button in the opened AInfo window;
5. Save the file as an archive (AInfo.zip).

From the installation folder (if the product cannot be launched)

1. Open the installation folder of the application (by default C:\Program Files(x86)\ABBYY FineReader <version>);
2. Run Ainfo.exe;
3. Click the Save as... button in the opened report window;
4. Save the file as an archive (AInfo.zip).

From the folder with unpacked distribution kit (if the program is not installed)

1. Open the folder where the distribution kit was unpacked (default C:\temp\FR <version>).
2. Open the sub-folder of the ABBYY software version you are working with;
3. Run Ainfo.exe;
4. Click the Save as... button in the opened report window;
5. Save the file as an archive (AInfo.zip).

From the License Server

1. Open the folder with the unpacked distribution kit on the computer where the License Server installed;
2. Open the sub-folder of the ABBYY software version you are working with;
3. Run Ainfo.exe;
4. Click the Save as... button in the opened report window;
5. Save the file as an archive (AInfo.zip).
