Is it possible to activate the license if the proxy is used on the target machine?

Answer

For Windows 7 & below

Proxy settings are taken automatically from the Internet Explorer settings. They are specified via Internet Explorer → Tools → Internet Options → Connections tab.

For Windows 8 and above

• Open Windows Settings (bottom right edge of the system tray).

• Click Network & Internet.
  The list of network- and Internet-related settings appears.

• Click Proxy.
  The list of available proxy settings appears.
