If there are several licenses with the same Customer Project ID activated on the same machine, which license will be used when FineReader Engine is initialized?

Answer

FineReader Engine will use the first suitable available license – free, not expired, with virtual machine support, a Network one if necessary, etc. There is no specific order for the licenses, however, a Runtime license cannot be used with a Developer installation of FineReader Engine.

If it is necessary to use a specific license, the IEngine::SetCurrentLicense method can be used to do this.
