Symptoms

The following error message appears during the Engine Object initialization:

Engine is not licensed

Cause

This message appears if no valid activated license has been found for the specified ProjectId.

For example, if the license has not been activated, it has expired, or in the case of the Hardlock protection, the dongle is not detected.

Resolution

Launch the License Manager utility and check if the target license is present and valid.

Please make sure that the ProjectId parameter during the initialization is set in correspondence to the target license. ProjectId parameter of the license is shown in the License Manager utility.
