How to use FineReader PDF for iOS?

Answer

Creating document

1. Launch FineReader PDF.
2. Take an image using a device camera or select images from the device's gallery, then press the Done button.
3. If necessary, cut or rotate an image and apply filters using the toolbar.
4. Then press the Apply or Done button.

Recognizing document

1. Open the document list.
2. Select a required document and tap the Recognize button.
3. Select recognition mode:
   • Plain text mode makes on-device text capture without sending documents to the server. Text formatting would not be saved. After recognition is finished, text can be copied or sent to one of the available applications.
   • Preserve text formatting mode creates document on the server and save the document’s structure and style.
4. Select the recognition languages and format of the resulting file, then press Done.

Sharing document

1. Open the document list.
2. Tap the Share button.
3. Select By Email, To your Email or To a Cloud service.
4. Select file format:
   • Recognized file: Searchable PDF (PDF/A), DOCX (DOC), XLSX (XLS), TXT, RTF, ODT, PPTX, EPUB, FB2.
   • Image-only file: JPG, PDF.
