In the main menu, there are several sections responsible for various configuration options in FineReader PDF for iOS. Where to learn about all the settings available in the app?

Cloud services section

The app can be synchronized with Box, Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Yandex.Disk service.

Siri Shortcuts section

This section displays Siri Shortcuts available for documents.

Tags section

This section displays all available document tags and allows to create or edit them.

The New tag button allows to create new tag. The Edit button allows to to delete or rearrange tags.

Settings section

Restore Purchases

This option allows to restore subscription purchase made in the application.

Smart gallery

This feature automatically organizes photos in the device's gallery into 7 types of documents.

Save original to Photos

By enabling this feature, all images will be automatically duplicated to the device's gallery.

Send to email

This setting allows the sending of scanned documents to the specified email.

Password for PDF

This setting allows to protect scanned documents with a password.

By enabling the Add automatically option, a password will be set on every PDF file sent. If this function is turned off, the will be a need to choose whether to set a password for every scanned document.  

The Add password while auto uploading option allows to set a password on every document uploaded automatically on a cloud storage.

Edit before saving

This setting allows to give a unique name and tags to each new document.  

Show ABBYY News

This feature allows to receive advertising messages from ABBYY (e.g. email newsletters or push-notifications about new application features, promotions, and discounts).

Configure Tracking

This function allows ABBYY to help improving FineReader PDF by allowing the app to track user's activity. It can be disabled any time in the device's settings. The instructions are described in the following article: The iOS application asks to track activity

App Signature

This function adds FineReader PDF signature for document export.
