FineReader PDF for iOS settings

In this article, we describe all the settings available in FineReader PDF for iOS.

Cloud services

Go to this section if you want to add your cloud service account. The app can be synchronized with  
Box, Dropbox, Evernote, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Yandex.Disk.  

Automatically send to - click on this button if you want to choose relevant cloud service for automatic uploading and format of documents sent.

Siri Shortcuts

Go to this section to see the Siri Shortcuts available for documents .

Tags

Go to this section if you want to edit tags:

Edit - click on this button to delete or rearrange tags.

New tag - click on this button to create a new tag.

Settings:

Premium account (available in FineReader PDF Free)

Go to Premium account section to learn about Premium account features and to purchase monthly or yearly subscription.

Restore purchases

If you want to restore FineReader PDF subscriptions or purchases, click on Restore purchases.

Smart gallery

Turn on this function if you want to automatically distribute photos in your gallery into 7 types of documents. 

Save original

Turn on this function if you want to save photos to camera gallery.

Send to your Email

Go to this section to set up sending of scanned documents to your email.

Password to PDF

Turn on this function if you want to protect scanned documents with a password.

Fill in the password and its confirmation in relevant fields.

Add automatically - click on this button if you want to set a password on every PDF-file sent. Notice that the password will not be set if the document is uploaded on a cloud service. If this function is turned off, you need to choose whether to set a password for every scanner document.  

Add password to autoshare - click on this button if you want to set a password on every document uploaded automatically on a cloud service.

Edit before saving

Turn on this function if you want to add new unique names and tags to the documents.  

Show ABBYY news

Turn on this function to receive advertising and marketing messages from ABBYY: email newsletters or push-notifications about new application features, promotions, and discounts.

Improve ABBYY services

Turn on this function to help us to improve FineReader PDF by sharing application usage data.

App Signature

Turn off this function if you don’t want to add FineReader PDF mention while document exporting.
