Symptoms

Unable to install Scanning station:

Activation of http://localhost/FlexiCapture12/Downloads/ScanStationInstall/ScanStationFCLauncher.application resulted in exception. Following failure messages were detected:

Strong name signature not valid for this assembly DotNetScriptingSupport.dll.

In order to solve the issue, you need to log in as admin and give to the user the scanning rights.

Cause

The user that is used for the login doesn't have rights for using Scanning station.

Resolution

1. Access Administration and Monitoring Station as Administrator:
2. Select Settings on the right side of the high panel > Users:
   
3. Add a new user and assign Scanning Operator rights.
