The filter daemon did not respond within the timeout limit

There can be a situation when indexing in SharePoint fails with “The filter daemon did not respond within the timeout limit” message in the crawl log, and you could not find files by content that should have been indexed by FineReader Server 14.

The common reason for the issue is that query timeout in SharePoint is not big enough for recognition operation, and FineReader Server 14 is not able to return the response with indexing information to the SharePoint within threshold. Default value in SharePoint is 120 sec., hence, if the file is missed to be recognized within this time boundary, the issue appears.
