"The license counter is damaged" error message is displayed during the processing.
This issue might be caused by the corrupted counter file Protection.cnt.
To resolve the "The license counter is damaged" error please do the following:
- Stop the ABBYY SDK 12 Licensing Service:
- Delete the file c:\ProgramData\ABBYY\SDK\12\Licenses\Protection.cnt
- Start the ABBYY SDK 12 Licensing Service.
