"Wrong E-Mail or password" error message in ABBYY Cloud

When trying to enter an ABBYY Cloud account in Business Card Reader, the following message appears: Wrong E-Mail or password. Using the forgotten password link does not help to fix the issue.

This issue may be caused by a user's profile that had created in another ABBYY service.

To fix this issue, please do the following:

  1. Go to https://account.abbyy.com/forgot-password;
  2. Enter your email address;
  3. Click on the "REQUEST PASSWORD RESET LINK" button;
  4. Follow the instructions from the letter you have received.
