There is no workflow for processing IFilter requests in FineReader Server 14

 

Symptoms

While testing the connection to IFilter in FineReader Server 14, the warning message appears:

ABBYY FineReader Server 14 IFilter Backend reported an error: There is no workflow for processing IFilter requests. Please verify that you have the "Support for IFilter" feature installed.

Cause

The cause is that during the installation of the FineReader Server14 option "Install IFilter" has not been checked.

Resolution

Run the FRS14 installation package once more, select the "Modify ..." option and simply check the "Support for IFilter" checkbox. After finishing the installation, hit "Test Connection" from IFilter Settings and make sure it works.
