How to update Customer Project ID for running FineReader Engine Samples with new license?

Answer

Each Customer Project ID is linked to specific licenses, therefore it's not possible to change the license without changing the Project ID. Below are the steps of reconfiguring samples with updated Project ID. 

  1. The project ID is written into SamplesConfig files. You can find it in Samples folder, there are separate files for Java and C++/C#. 

    Linux:



    Windows:

  2. All Samples are pulling license information from these files. Please open the one that corresponds to your programming language and change corresponding Project ID value:

    Project id issue. 

    we have updated project id in sampleconfig.cs and restarted ABBYY FineReader service. But still getting the error as Failed to run license xxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx incorrect project id
