Your FlexiCapture license may have restrictions on the number of stations allowed for simultaneous usage and you may need the way to view which station uses the license.

Unlike the web stations, rich ones are getting License tickets directly from the License Manager without communicating with Application Server (see ABBYY FlexiCapture architecture here). Thus connections to rich stations may not be visible within Sessions tab in Administration and Monitoring Console, for example when someone is working with local project on project setup station or when someone is designing layouts in FlexiLayout Studio or in FormDesigner.

How to find out which station occupies license in such cases?

Step-by-step guide

1. Go to FlexiCapture License Manager;
2. Enable Service > Turn on usage statistic gathering;
3. Now there is access to the License use statistic tab of the Service menu, where you can see which station is occupied currently:
4. Detailed information can be seen inside Service > Event Log tab. Trace login\logoff there. The record will also show name of FlexiCapture station, name of user's workstation and License number for the given session.
