Integration with MS Office applications in FineReader PDF 15 (not supported)

FineReader PDF 15 does not support integration with Microsoft Office applications. That is, FineReader PDF 15 add-in will not be present in the add-ins tab of Microsoft Office programs.

Alternatively, you can use the context menu in Windows Explorer to convert files, as FineReader PDF 15 integrates with Windows Explorer. To convert a file, follow the steps below:

  1. Right-click on the file to call the context menu.
  2. Choose Convert with ABBYY FineReader PDF 15.
  3. Select the required format, e.g. Convert to searchable PDF.

More detailed information can be found in the corresponding article of the User's guide: Integration with Windows Explorer.

Another way to create PDF documents from Microsoft Office applications is to use the virtual printer PDF-XChange 5.0 for ABBYY FineReader 15. Please find detailed information in the corresponding article of the User's Guide: Using a virtual printer to create PDF documents.
